Boys recently admitted to whom Prizes are given for encouragement:-G. Huwazi, G. Lobb, C. Aitken, V. Dodd, S. Hayward, E. Hayward, and A. White.
The BISHOP-I might just mention, to show how the numbers have risen this year, and how we may hope they will continue to rise, that at the beginning of the year we had 23 boys: 5 left, 4 of whom went to England; admitted, 15; present number, 33.
Cheers were then given for His Excellency, for the ladies, and, on the call of the Governor, for the Queen, and also for Mr. and Mrs. Hamblin.
We are requested to state that the Hon. F. B. Johnson gave $50 and Mr. A. McIver $25 towards the cost of the prizes, and that Mr. D. E. Caldwell gave a prize of a writing desk.
